LMFAO - Part 2
Captain Rainbow for the Nintendo Wii
The main character "Nick" is able to transform into "Captain★Rainbow" a tokusatsu-styled superhero wielding a yo-yo, with a wish to restore his lost popularity. To restore his popularity, Nick ventures to Mimin Island; an island where wishes are said to come true, he'll meet a vast array of past minor Nintendo characters with their own dreams and wishes on his journey. The game features a stylized cartoon look similar to Skip's other games.
Birdo (Catherine) - From Super Mario Bros. 2, Birdo's reason to come to Mimin Island is to become popular with all the boys, but was wrongly suspected of a crime and imprisoned. It claims that Nick is its boyfriend after he releases it from prison. It lives in the "Cute House" on a separated part of the Island. The interior consists of mostly pink colored furniture, ribbons and eggs.
OK, this is just getting weirder and weirder...
LMFAO
From Wikipedia
Birdo
Birdo, known in Japan as Catherine (キャサリン, Kyasarin?), is an enemy to Mario and playable character in various games. Birdo first appeared in the Japanese game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic and the remade Super Mario Bros. 2 as a recurring boss, misnamed "Ostro" (which is really the ostrich enemy; the game labels Ostro as Birdo and vice versa; this has been corrected in Super Mario Advance). Birdo later appeared in Wario's Woods as an ally of Toad, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars as a boss character, and in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, as a boss paired with the thief Popple. Birdo was first playable in the Nintendo 64 installment of Mario Tennis, as Yoshi's partner. Since then, Birdo appears as a playable character in several Mario sports titles and in the Mario Party and Mario Kart series.
Birdo's gender has changed throughout various American game versions, but has always been male in Japan. In the original manual for Super Mario Bros. 2, Birdo is referred to as male that believes he is female, and would like to be called Birdetta.[8] Most later American-localized games, such as the Mario sports titles, which have featured Birdo with a diamond ring, have usually listed Birdo as a female.[9] Recent localizations have avoided the use of any gender pronouns when describing Birdo. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it is said that Birdo is of "indeterminate gender" in its trophy.
In addition, the trailer for the Wii game Captain Rainbow is narrated by Birdo using a distinctly male voice. However, reviews have stated that part of the plot surrounding the Birdo character is gender related and involves proving its womanhood.[10] In Super Mario Advance, Birdo is wearing a bow and can be green or pink.
I guess Nintendo is trying to gain new ground (and somehow without being noticed by the torch and pitchfork wielding super conservatives out there) this is cool I guess, but I can't take it serious.
(Oh also the pic is from this)

Birth By Sleep Trailer
I honestly think Ven = Roxas for a number of reasons and me and Tom keep arguing about this, but who knows (Nomura comes up with some crazy ideas for storylines regardless).

lol, I need to work harder on this music thing
Ok, the main reason why I'm posting this is because of Fat Cat being in the video.
He's my step-brother (which also makes Serius Jones my cousin, haven't met him though).
This is just inspiration for me to work harder on this music thing.

Mugen returning?
Snooping around the web I came across this.
For Mugen fans this site returning means a lot, because this is a site that has been down for a very long time (since 03). To explain this is the site belonging to the creators of Mugen. Elecbyte.
Apparently in the F.A.Q. section of the site they mention plans to release an "uncrippled" version of Windows Mugen and then get to work on a version of Mugen with a brand new engine that contains "major format changes" so major they break compatibility with the old mugen.
I guess this makes my last post not seem like news anymore, from the looks of it we may see a fighting game engine war between Windows Mugen, the new "major format changing" Mugen, ShugenDo and Infinity Cat. What would make this more interesting is if Enterbrain announced a new Fighter Maker.

ShugenDo
Basically a next-gen Mugen (if you know what that is)
(Side note: How many times have I heard this song in a YouTube video?)
So far alot has been displayed and this project is promising. With lots of new effects and features (my favorites being Scale2x, hq2x and network support).
But I still have that feeling that this should be made open-source.

LupEND
Apparently Lupe Fiascos last album LupEND which is a three disc album, isn't going to have all three discs released at the same time, with the first being released Fall 2009.
It's a smart move, make one 3 disc album appear as three 1 disc albums.
Thanks to The Lupe Fiasco Show for this bit of news.
Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 out now

Personal Trainer Cooking Commercial
Honestly this is kinda cool, and I really don't care about that whole "Nintendo doesn't care about the hardcore gamer" sentence, I have more fun playing the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS than an X-Box 360 or even a Sony PS3, the PSP in this is an exception since I have Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions and downloadable games like Super Stardust Portable.

Tweaking Friend Connect
I'm playing around with the Friend Connect features trying to figure out how to get my Join button to do what this blogs [join button] does (it lets you join and follow at the same time).
Edit: I figured it out.
And I'm working on some other undisclosed features for our new Friend Connect powered blog.
Edit #2: Don't mind my Friend Connect clones (I swear I have OCD or something).

New Theme
I've just updated the blog site design to this horrible mint flavored 4chan esque theme, all because I felt like it.
Accept it as now I've gained the freedom to upgrade the ads on the right and bottom of this site to fat banners.
(The next time I change the theme, I promise to put time and care into the design.)
Edit: Oh also we got Google Friend Connect!

Final Fantasy Agito XIII
Blaz Blue
I've been keeping an eye on this for a while it's by the makers of Guilty Gear which I guess is their way of saying there'll be no more 2D Guilty Gear games or that they won't be making any 2D one's anytime soon, I dunno (lets hope it comes out on the PS3).
Getting OpenID in the browser
A good read, regarding OpenID authentication through web browsers and a proposal to do this through Gears (since through Gears, Google has already created two web standards, Geolocation and Offline Apps).
I'm looking more forward to this than SF4
Glad I have the Homebrew Channel (and Gecko OS).
Sad to say though I do like the PS3 and 360, games like this make the Wii seem far less underpowered compared to those consoles (and this makes up for Street Fighter IV only being on the 360 and PS3. For now).

A classic
Whatever happened to tracks like this?
I haven't heard something like this in a while (lol, I guess he didn't "do it again").
DX10 from the CPU
"Adding to the already impressive pile of Vista-deflating features we're expecting to see in Windows 7 is WARP, a tech which will allow your PC's CPU to act as a graphics accelerator, possibly doing away with the need for integrated graphics hardware to render user interfaces and low-end games. Not-so-seductively described as a ‘fully conformant software rasterizer’, WARP requires nothing more than an 800MHz processor for complete—if comically slow—DX10 compliance.
At this stage WARP won't be intended as a gameworthy replacement for dedicated graphics cards, but it could help avoid another "Vista Capable" type debacle by standardizing essential graphics capabilities across virtually all hardware. That said, it's not that slow: Microsoft reports that when paired with the rather awesome i7, it runs Crysis faster than Intel's integrated DX10 solutions. Like, 42% faster. Granted, that's still only 7.36FPS on the game's lowest settings, but don't miss the point here: Windows 7 will run Crysis—or any other game—without a video card."
